About This Study
The purpose of the Survivor Heart Study is to develop a health education program for African American breast cancer survivors in the Deep South. We want to help African American women who are diagnosed with breast cancer to survive and thrive!

Our Mission
We aim to develop a health education program that will help African American breast cancer survivors to live their best, healthiest lives.
What We Do
To accomplish the goals of our study, we are assessing the prevalence and knowledge of CVD risk factors among African American breast cancer survivors in the Deep South.
We are also assessing the factors that act as barriers to and facilitators of heart disease risk reduction behaviors among African American breast cancer survivors in the Deep South.
We will use the information that we gather to develop a targeted health education program.
